About me

I’m a research assistant and PhD candidate at the Chair of Technical Information Systems at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), where I previously studied computer science.

Research

My research is on the Web of Things (WoT). In my PhD, I develop vocabularies that describe how Things and their Consumers behave, not just what interfaces they offer. Formal behaviour descriptions make WoT systems accessible to formal methods: they allow model checking, runtime monitoring and runtime enforcement of properties such as temporal logic specifications. They also give autonomous agents a basis to plan their interactions with Things.

Teaching

I’m a teaching assistant for the courses Foundations of Linked Data, Big Data and Introduction to Computer Science at FAU.
